I think one thing that makes Ice types obsolete is the fact that you can use any water types over them with just Ice Beam. They don't have as shit of defenses. The fact that water types are given so much upsets me. Hell I'm pretty sure it's the most common type for all Pokemon.
Rant about Ice types aside Scald is ridiculous.
