>>20662824/vp/ complains that Fairy is bad because it exists solely to shit on dragons.
That's actually a good argument. Now, here you are, trying to come up with a type that exists only to shit on fairies.
>>20665625>>20665653> There are people who still think gyms and elite four members should be classified based on type and not on strategyAwright, lemme explain this one.
Suppose you're playing Kirby and you get to the boss battle. Instead of being, say, a giant snake golem that splits into chunks and/or slithers around the battlefield wildly, it's just a really big Waddle Doo that takes a few extra hits to kill. Shit, wouldn't you feel a little disappointed?
Meanwhile, the gym leaders in Pokemon are just ordinary trainers that happen to have some high-level Pokemon - but, since they're always all the same type, and you know what that type's going to be, they're actually EASIER to fight!
Have you ever played competitively? There are a bajillion strategies the leaders could use without even relying on gimmicks. Why didn't Grant have a Carbink with Reflect and Light Screen? Why has no Poison-type leader ever relied on toxic spikes? Why wasn't there a Dark leader in Unova that used Zoroark? That last one wouldn't even be that hard, but, thanks to Illusion, the resulting battle would be so much more memorable than Generic Team #47.
I don't mean to call you out on this personally - after all, GF itself does it. But these threads are always about adding one new character to the roster of seven hundred. Don't you think that's getting kinda old?
>>20662114> (excluding Normal)... I don't have a heavy-handed response to this one. Just... when will best type get any love?
