First of all, there's no reason to reset for natures unless you're speedrunning. Even detrimental natures don't matter in the main game.
If you want a starter with a good nature, fucking breed one.
Secondly, EV training in the main game is dumb. Even Super Training's unnecessary. And on that, GameFreak literally introduced Super Training to make EV training easier for newbies and casual players if you want to do that.
The only variety I have on my in-game team is type variety. Almost all of my pokémon are offensive, because there's no reason to have anything but offensive pokémon in-game.
X/Y have absolutely no post game, and anyone can agree. The game doesn't "just start" post E4, it throws you into a breeding purgatory.
