So /vp/, how do you give nicknames to your Pokemon (if you do)? My nicknames tend to be quite serious, most of the time. What's your convention for naming Pokemon? Here's a few of mine:
Cyrus - Tyrantrum - named after the Persian Kings
Nidhogg - Seviper - named after the serpent in Norse mythology
Mirabilis - Milotic - Latin for 'miraculous'
Gojira - Tyranitar - Original name for Godzilla
Lacerus - Bisharp - Portmaneau of Lazarus and lacerate
Zhu Rong - Typhlosion - Chinese god of fire
Mephisto - Mismagius - Named after Mephistopheles, the demon in Goethe's Faust
Be'elzebub - Volcarona - Named after the Crown Prince of Hell and Lord of the Flies
Dreichkopf - Hydreigon - Portmaneau of drei (three), Drache (dragon) and Kopf (head)
