Steel =/= being a knight. Steel type Pokemon are Pokemon covered in metal, that is all.
And I just said, lizards eat bugs. Lizards. Dragons are something entirely else, you can't say that dragons are now everything reptilic, as then other Pokemon would become dragons as well, not just "dinosaurs" from which we only know one of.
And as I said before - you tend to subconsciously ignore certain things that don't fit within your spectrum in order to stay right - bugs most likely are also fucked against fire because of the "lens against insects" thing.
