What will you name your Treecko/Mudkip in ORAS? I doubt anyone would use a Torchic but Torchic nicknames are welcomed too.

I got a 5IV Timid one from Wonder Trade, but I'm waiting on stats for all the ORAS megas before breeding them myself.

Probably going to go with Muddy for Mudkip, since that's what I named mine when playing Ruby for the first time.

Maybe. But what was the point of such micromanaging? I mean, make 'Hoenn starters nicknames' thread and if people really don't care about Torchics, there simply won't be any Torchic nicknames.

That's not autistic, that's just nonsense. "gle" doesn't sound masculine. And Kringle's a last name, so it doesn't really matter anyway. There's a Mrs. Kringle, too, remember.

Whether women are named after plants or not, "Pine" isn't feminine at all.

This is the best choice. It gets an ability that gives it a +1 to Sp. Attack when hit by a type it already has a double resist to. It's not going to be a very physical attacker, especially given Swampert and Blaziken already are.

I recently bred myself a treecko, the one that came out with perfect IVs also happened to be one of the only females. I named her Rosemary after one of my favorite spices and how rosemary looks like a little pine tree.
