ALL three of the genies in their regular formes look exactly like a naked dude in a cloud, with a tail, white hair and a moustache with the same dumbass frown, with the only real "variants" being those four things you mentioned.
Look, an easy answer is to swap their color palletes around. You can still instantly tell which one is Zapdos, which ones is Articuno and which one is Moltres.
Can you honestly say you wouldn't have to stare at the color swapped genies for a couple of seconds just to figure out which is which?
