>>20681076When I was young and watched the anime, I always loved Arbok. Purple (cool kind not gay kind) has always been my favorite color and that menacing Arbok was always awesome to me.
I remember catching one in Silver and naming it Zealous. I didn't know what zealous mean and I pronounced it Zeel-iss, instead of the normal Zel-iss, but I didn't care cause I've also always like names that start with the letter Z.
Of course I lost that Silver version and my lime green GameBoy Color in airport. Went right back to the seat I was in like a minute later and of course it was gone, so I'll never know who my other bros were (besides Zealous and Charizard) or their nicknames. Like a piece of my childhood stolen from me.
