Also it's doomed to be predictable as things get.
Its gimmick is going to be using fighting moves on ghosts? Barring dumping all 100 bonus stats into Attack, that's not all that imposing, especially considering the only ghost susceptible to Fighting anyway would be the second toughest to kill.

Assuming a mere 30 points go into attack

252+ Atk Lopunny High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Aegislash-Shield: 288-338 (88.8 - 104.3%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO

51 points makes it guaranteed OHKO.

0 speed lopunny is faster than 252 speed jolly aegislash, and immune to Aegislash's only form of priority.

So nice weakness policy.

It can also pack a really fast Encore, and drain punch or PuP instead, which make the Aegislash matchup completely unwinnable for Aegislash if it ever uses King's Shield. Encore is also just a good move to have on your team in general, especially combined with PuP

I hope you guys realize that M-Lopunny needs at least 60 points dumped into Attack to be worth your Mega slot, and that most likely isn't going to happen. It will be a low-tier Mega.

Its already fast as fuck, to the point that it can revenge kill Mega Lucario. If it gains any speed at all when it megas, it'll be ridiculously hard to stop without TFlame (which fucks it sideways thanks to the fighting type giving it Brave Bird weaknesses and I dont think Lopunny has/will get Espeed or Sucker Punch)

It has Encore and Fake Out as Egg moves, plus Ice Punch to deal with Dragons and Flying Types which it now has a weakness to. (Hoping the Elemental punches are move tutors in ORAS, though.)

it seems like from Lopunny's "Playboy bunny girl" they went in a completely different direction, not knowing what the hell to do. Given its gaining of Fighting type, I figured it would've taken a more athletic approach, taking on a sporty look rather than the fashion model. 80s style come to mind, since they had that whole "pantyhose thing" going on.

it unfortunately then leaves you with an Assault Vested shield forme Aegislash that you now have to HJK.

Encore is probably better. Yeah.

As for stats, note that when it mega evolves it gets lighter. The only other mega to do this is mega mewtwo-y who incidentally is the only mega to lose defences upon mega evolving.

Small precedent, but its there. We could be dealing with an effective +120 bst boost from dropping special defence (which is 96 for some fucking reason)

Repeat, 120 bst points that probably wont go to defence. Getting a +50 or +60 to attack isn't unreasonable.

Even with +60 it's still 130 base, both Altaria and Lopunny have laughable offenses, thank god Lopunny only needs to focus in attack and maybe a +10 speed, while altaria is most like raising both offensive stats

Think of it like this, how much do you actually see going into speed and special attack. Because the rest is in attack.

If it gets the 120 from a sdef drop, it could gain 20 in speed and special attack and have 80 left over for attack. That leaves it at 156 attack aka one point higher than mega pinsir.
