OP here
>>20687031>>20687549Difficulty, even in Pokémon, is relative. You create the challenge for yourself more often then not. You can still make the game challenging with well bred pokes. For example, being purposefully under-leveled.
>>20687059I had a very specific and somewhat complex method to get HP Ice on Manectric breeding-wise. I'll try to detail it.
Basically, I ran over to the Genning topic to pick up a Ditto and female Manectric (Timid in a Quick Ball specifically) and they both shared the same IV spread: 31/31/31/31/31/30. Basically, I bred pentaperfects until one was born with and IV set up that was Ice type HP. When going to the judge you shouldn't ever have him say Speed because either a.) it's 30 and he wont say it can't be beat or b.) it'll have every stat but Speed in which case it inherited Attack and randomly generated Speed. Basically, whenever you get a penta go check it's HP type and cross your fingers for Ice. I think my second penta had Ice actually.
>>20687269I can actually, but there are some... complications. All my bred pokes are actually still in Eggs and the Pokémon below them mark them ball, nature, ability, and move-wise while not being identical IV-wise. The plan is to hatch them in ORAS with that game's trainer ID. I do have a lot of leftovers and even some other pentas I have saved from these projects, so if you're interested just ask about whatever pokes you like.
>>20687753Thank you. I'm a semi-competitive Karenfag, honestly.
>>20688214Whatever I feel like when I get there. I might wait until my teams more together then EV train them via Super Training. The plan is the trade the eggs over when I obtain the Pokemon naturally in ORAS (i.e. Trade Feebas over when I catch one and replace the one I caught).
>>20688431I don't think EVs really make a difference in stats until later levels though?
