There was a post made on the official PowerSaves Facebook page by the Manager. The post states IV Codes will be coming back in a week, and Nature codes following fairly close behind. Apparently there servers were hit pretty hard and they're upgrading to support the new traffic. They are also adding a Blue pentagon hack soon, for Kalos Born.

I swear if they make it so I need to rebreed all of my Pokémon, I won't buy ORAS. Fuck them, a lot of my time spent was autisting out for masuda methods and breeding competitive pokébros.

Good question.

Making pokémon Kalos born when they'll have non-Kalos-available moves is going to cause some real problems. Do we really want hyper voice M-Gardes running around, or Seismic Toss Kangaskhans, with KB privileges?

It entirely possible that they'll get those moves in ORAS but either way at the end of the day its just a cheat and it doesn't really need a reason to exist.

Its like those codes back in the day that made your character models huge, it didn't really do anything it just was.

Please, enlighten me. Within the context of a a battle, what advantage does a perfect stat genned pokemon have over a perfect stat bred pokemon?

From where I'm standing, the two pokemon are on a perfectly level playing field.

Either you use some weird bizarro world definition of the the word "advantage" or your complaints are completely baseless.

He's talking about 5th-gen-only moves, like a Metagross with Ice Punch.
However I'm thinking if a Pokemon has the Kalos pentagon, it'll be banned from online if it has old moves that are unavailable in Kalos, because it's illegal. So the hackers won't actually have an advantage.

I would hope that an event would exclude combinations like that from participating just like I expect them to prevent players from putting invalid abilities or impossibly large stat values on pokemon.

IMO, a properly genned pokemon is indistinguishable from a "legit" pokemon. An impossible move combination raises a red flag that something is awry. If a competition's filters can't catch that kind of blatant mistake, then the fault lies with the event organizer.

Yeah, but keep something in mind: HGSS had a move tutor in Gen 4, and despite technically being the "third version", so did B2W2. We're about to get ORAS, and I'd wager, from past precedent, that there will be a move tutor for Gen 6 in it. If that's the case then you breed your Kalos mon, transfer it to ORAS, tutor, then bank it back over to Kalos and you're good. If ORAS is as good as it looks like it's going to be though, I have no idea why you'd want to go BACK to XY though. Kalos a boring compared to Hoenn.
