How many people are still actually playing X/Y? And if not, why?

I'm holding off on playing XY so I don't burn myself out for ORAS. The pathetic lack of end-game in XY isn't helping, either.

Right now all I'm really doing is raising some bros up to level 50 to trade over to ORAS to use. Close to having a box full of fully trained mons.

Working on a living Dex and the native Kalos dex.

I stop playing most pokemon games a couple months after release
I have other games to play and if for some reason i want to battle i'll go on showdown for bit.
it blows my mind how people can play pokemon nonstop without being sick to death of the series

I took a break in january and started again this month. I've Finished my living dex and am now trying to get a shiny living dex without using Powersaves or cloning. I do however join in the occasional giveaways.

I don't play the game much at all now. Every now and then, on a slow night, I'll do drunken battle spot though. It's always fun wrecking people and being blasted at the same time.

Last time, went over to a friend's and after playing the pokemon anime drinking game, we did drunk battle spot. Pretty funny. Best battle was when some retard kept trying to status my Trevenant holding a lum berry and proceeds to get swept by it.

Stopped playing for a while, but a small-scale tournament made me get back into it over the past month to prepare.
... Now that it's finally over, I'm still stuck having to check back for the next couple days to harvest berry trees.

I actually wanted to complete my dex, so I started a new game, and then went through the game, trying to catch everything on each route. Now I've actually done that and beaten the elite 4, I've lost all my motivation to play. I'm just kinda wandering around Kiloude, wondering what I should do next.

I bought Y when I had gotten X at launch for this reason. I'm just trying a new team right now in Y but I'm probably gonna do some creative ways to play like Nuzlock or something of that nature.

For the first time (not that I hadn't tried before) I completed the Dex in X. But besides that, I've already caught the legends, shiny hunted, IV bred some Pokemon... All I can think of now is to raise some of my old bros to level 100 since it's piss-easy to do so in X/Y.
Honestly I love the game but I've done most of what I can do in it now. I mostly only take it out now if a friend wants to play or if I'm on some sort of long trip. (I should go back and explore Black 2 more, at that had so much extra stuff to do I'm not sure I even covered it all yet )
