>>20690027What in the world are you talking about? Maybe after Deoxys, Nidorino, Scollipede and a couple others, Arceus has one of best Pokémon designs ever. It's nowhere near as overdesigned as most Übers around its time, and though simpler, it has just enough details to make it appear divine; really, the body might look a little too plain without the golden thing, so I'm glad they put it there instead of say, floating above it like a halo. Also, though it's clearly equine, Arceus's design looks highly original. No animal has that sort of face, and the "tail" behind its head makes it look bizzare and otherworldly, while still not looking out of place on the rest of the body. Along with how his legs seem to lack feet, only pegs, this serves to portray a being that has no need for biological norms, something that would be no practically different if it was bipedal, or had real feet, or a "thousand arms". He's not meant to look like some imposing dragon, but like a beautiful and graceful creator.
