Did gamefreak really put him down there just because "it wouldn't be a trio if there were only two of them"?
I know the first reaction is, "he is supposed to stop Yveltal and Xerneas from killing each other, just like Rayquaza!" but that doesn't work because Zygarde has nothing over Xerneas, just it's anti-aura thing which doesn't really help and nothing to with the plot/lore, like the hoenn weather stuff. His signature move isn't even any good, its just EQ with 10 less BP.
He isn't really "post game content" ether because his "dungeon" has no real sub substance, and he doesn't even feel like the focus of it. I had no idea that it was even Zygarde's cave, I just bumped into him. I love Zygarde, I really do, but whats the damn point?
