My issue with Fairy is its ass balancing (resisting Bug, wtf?), generic designs and failing to quell Dragon types as GF hyped it up to do because the only dragons people use have fuck-huge base stats.

You have to do that with literally every fairy matchup though, because there's no real hard definition on what a fairy actually is, it's not like fire and water which have set properties, for fairies you have to literally make shit up

poison gets a move thats super effective on steel types

Just no, you're giving Water types a massive buff by doing that
Put it this way, Water types can have nearly unresisted coverage through 2 moves alone since Ice would be able to hit other waters, grass types and dragons while water coverage deals with fire, rock and steel types

Also stuff like Hail raises all Ice types Defence by 50% and Rain dance raises their Sp.Defence by 50% Beartic is now a bit more useful

I think the best way to buff grass is to make it 1x effective against flying, poison and bug type. that way grass can have a better chance of knocking out pokemon good against it, which will make it much better defensively.

On a related note, Psychic being SE againts Fairy would be a nice start. Also, make Psychic either immune to confusion or Calm mind cures confusion.
