Overworld music is actually pretty good.

Well, good thing we shat on the soundtrack along with the entire game.

Worst/most disappointing gym leader battle by far, that's the song I look forward to the most, except maybe elite 4 theme (that one was admittedly okay though.)

If I had to give a criticism, it's that the quality of the music in-game is noticeably worse than on the soundtrack itself. I think that's more the fault of the hardware than anything else.

The legendary battle theme is indeed unique. One thing that I disapproved is that, although it almost perfectly fits Xerneas, I find it hard to imagine as Yveltal theme.

Excluding this one and several others, what I noticed is that I can't really dig the X/Y music. Not that they are shit (aside from, for instance, the Gym theme), but I've been hearing some that were posted here, but right now I can barely remember them; that's how "meh" they are.

Those labels mean shit. The expansion packs AKA "third versions" are the ones to sell worse. B2W2 were sequels but they barely sold more than Platinum. Remakes sell better and XY haw currently sold more than FRLG but less than HGSS.
