Individual values (commonly abbreviated as IVs) are values that are determined at birth. At level 100 31 (the highest one can get) is 31 stat points, and 0 (the lowest, as you can probably guess) is 0 stat points. At level 50 it's half that, as you can imagine.
They're extremely useful to breed for, and this generation gives you some tools to make the breeding process (which I will explain later) easier.
Natures increase a stat by 10%, as well as dropping another by 10%. They're extremely useful, and typically more valuable than IVs alone.
For Lilligant the most commonly seen natures are Timid and Modest, which are +speed -attack, and +special attack -attack.
Egg moves are moves that can only be learned by breeding that Pokémon with a parent knowing one.
Now that you know this, it's usually best to beg (while offering the best you can offer to let people know you don't plan on being a leech) for suitable parents.
When you have said parents you suit them up with a Destiny Knot, and Everstone (if one of the parents have a desirable nature).
Destiny Knot increases IV inheritance from 3 to 5 across BOTH parents, and Everstone makes the nature of parent that holds it pass down 100% of the time.

Only Pokémon that are of the opposite gender and in the same egg group can reproduce. Pokémon like Riolu, Rotom, and Tauros are the exceptions, as they are a baby, genderless, and male only respectively. It's impossible to breed with a Riolu, as it is in the undefined egg group. However, the other two are in egg groups meaning they can reproduce with Ditto (Or, in Tauros' case you can reproduce with anything in field, but it won't yield a Tauros).
There are various rules for how quickly Pokémon breed, but that's more easily explained by googling it.
The IV checker is located in the Kiloude Pokécenter, and the Hidden Power checker is in Anistar city in the very bottom right house.
You always want to aim for 31 in every relevant stat, with the irrelevant (in Lilligant`s case, attack) being whatever.
You can get a Hatching o-power from the o-power dude in some Café when doing some obnoxious shit, just google it.
Flame body doubles the value of each step, so you always want to use a Talonflame/Fletchhinder/whatever.
I think I missed something, but that's a rundown of the basics.

Guys I have a question. I have a female Scraggy in the daycare with Counter, fake out, drain punch, and ice punch. I have a male Dragonite with Dragon Dance in the daycare. I'm trying to pass down d dance, but the scraggys just have all of the Scraggys egg moves. What am I doing wrong?

Suggestions on a non-Gen VI Fairy to raise? Outside of Florges, which I used throughout the story mode, I realized I'm not all that acquainted with this new type yet. No Togekiss or Whimsicott because there's no way in hell I'm going to grind for their evolution stones (praying ORAS returns us to the Gen V days of easily/cheaply amassing lots of evolutionary items).
