Delphox is the second "mystical fire fox" pokemon, it doesn't have any theme except a generic rpg mage theme, is also anatomically weird and has a skirt that is literally made out of one meter long hair. Also a bad case of "just gets bigger". Understandable, since they had to avoid making it look like Mismagius, Murkrow or Ninetales.
I am noticing a trend here.
Fire is supposed to be the "Alpha" type and as such all Fire starters final evos are shoehorned to be bipedal and humanoid. Don't deny it, it's true. Some times it works (Charizard, Infernape) and sometimes they just should be quadrupedal (Typhlosion), look more than their 2nd stage (Blaziken) or pick another animal or body pose (the last two)
