Doing one last Nuzlocke before Hoenn Confirmed comes out.

Current team:

Fennekin - Fire
Pidgey - Normal/Flying
Butterfree - Bug/Flying
Marril - Water/Fairy
Furfrou - Normal
Oddish - Grass/Poison
Cubone - Ground
Charmeleon - Fire
Eevee - (On Reserve)
Dwebble - (HM Slave)

Casualties - 1 (Pursuit killed my Sandile)

Most are around level 35. Getting ready to take the third Gym. How bout that?

No, haven't been evolving them yet. I'll probably start either sometime after the fourth gym or when they learn most of the good moves.

Unevolved pokemon learn moves faster and I wanna use them to their full potential. Pidgey might need to evolve soon though...

Azumarril's pretty tough from what I've heard, but Marril learns Rough Play at level 45.

Gotta ask. Which might be better, Bone Rush or Bonemerang?

Nuzlocke's actually been missing ever since he went to that con. Apparently he was supposed to show up there but no one reported seeing him. Staff over at his forums apparently haven't heard from him since then either. Really bizarre.

The only mandatory rules are the ones in the OP. Most choose to nickname their Pokemon too, but it isn't required. Anything else is a self-imposed challenge.

Well, been a while. Troop's gotten a lot of experience, and there've been some changes. Lost two of my three then-caught fliers early on, and the fight with Silver really threw me for a loop - his Bayleef did, at least. Decided to take on Bugsy early because grinding in Route 33 and Ilex Forest would be hell, otherwise. I'd forgotten how long the grinding was for these particular games. Still, soldiered through to Goldenrod. Managed to luck out immensely in the Bug Catching Contest and nab a Scyther as my first catch. Skiploom is currently boxed for Sandslash to have someone who can resist Rollout. And on that note, with everyone at level 22, hopefully Whitney's Miltank won't slaughter me...hopefully.

Well, time to find out.

I thought about trying a weird nuzlocke when or/as comes out. When you beat a gym you go catch a new team of pokemon and stop using your current team. This should keep you underleveled and make the game more challenging, but also adds diversity to your team after each gym.
