You reaalllly need to know your shit if you buy any plushie or figure at conventions. So many booths sell fakes.
You know those llamas you see everywhere at conventions. I'd say 90% of those sold there are bootlegs.
My friend ended up spending 40 dollars on a bootleg kyogre and by the time he found out the convention was over.

While on the topic of Pokemon merch, does anyone know a good place to buy the limited edition Mega Stones? I'm looking to grab the set of 8, but I don't want to spend upwards of $30 on each additional stone. I'm guessing Yahoo japan will be a good bet, but any other suggestions are appreciated.

Hey, my main collection's Gen 4 and that's not being produced anymore either. I still managed to get this PokePark exclusive plush at $60 shipped when everyone else wanted $300+

yeah, looking at that picture again, it looks different. The eyes on mine are different, and you can see a yellow spot from the same angle as that on top. It could always just be a different design. Like you said, if it is fake, its still really cute and it looks well made

I've had this adorable plush since I was 10. It's been there through multiple suicide attempts, the loss of my grandparents, and even losing my daughter. I keep it as a reminder that as long as I have pokémon, there is something to live for.

Depends on the actual value of the plush.
I wouldn't go over $15 for any Pokedolls that are still in print, or over $30 for another regular sized Sub, but I'd snatch up any Glaceon canvas under $80 in a heartbeat.
