It is, it's similar to Pachi as a supporter but faster than the 100 speed barrier that determines the current meta and less gimmicky than pachi, sometimes I lost just because of it.
And no, I don't like it, I prefer Pikachu and hope ot gets a mega just to see all those tears

Raichu is basically Mega Pikachu at this point - you get a faster and bulkier Pokemon at the cost of a little bit of power.

It's an electric type support poke that benefits from the opponent throwing around electric moves. While it and pachi do different roles, raichu is still similar in that way.

Probably not too good but he's been fun. I should probably put some ev's into def and sp def from speed right?

Also Raichu's job is redirecting electric moves and eventually get a nice spa, plus his fast encore and taunt are awesome. You can render any naive fake out user useless.
