Used to run this thing a lot in OU with success above +1600 rating on ladder. Its a really solid lead.

In one of the last Smogon tournies, there was a fun looking setting using Regenerator Slowking (I'm guessing Specs) and Future Sight.

Basically come in on something you can tank, set off a Future Sight, then switch to something that can hit whatever they bring in to take the Future Sight.

Wouldn't Water Shuriken be a better option than Waterfall? Sure, Waterfall has a flinch chance, but with Shuriken and Kings Rock you have multiple 10% chances to flinch.

Fire Punch is a viable option because there's no recoil to potentially render Sash useless, and with Iron Fist it does respectable damage.

This set is designed to be a lure to a ton of switch-ins to Infernape in OU. It acts as a hazard lead or a lure, depending on the enemy team. Predict the Azumarill switch to burn it when it comes in, likewise with Lando-T and Gliscor. Gliscor think they usually have nothing to fear so they'll take the burn before the Toxic Orb even activates.

And then you have the usual perks of running Infernape like walling the fuck out of Bisharp and Scizor, wrecking Ferrothorn and Heatran, etc.

Mega evolve on the 1st turn against their lead and use magic coat, then prankster disable their rocks/stickyweb/whatever.

That's nice because since magic coat is a priority move anyway it's not affected by prankster not activating on the first turn, unfortunately magic bounce users can do the same by simply switching, but that's a nice set anyway as it's not expected!

Give him a Sitrus Berry and you get to bulk up your defenses before you get hit. So once you start using calm mind you heal back any damage done to you.

I usually save him as my last so he can't be dragon tailed away.

The utility is ridiculous. It still pivots well, and nothing wants to switch into Lava Plume, but the recovery and status absorption turn this thing into an unbreakable tank that never goes away.

You may be asking why I have rivalry on this set. This is because when an opposing pokemon is the same gender, your moves get a 1.25x power boost. But wait, you may ask, what about pokemon of the opposite gender? With rivalry, your attacks get nerfed to .75x power. But this is where attract comes in. See, since attract works only on opposite gendered pokemon, it helps offset the power nerf from rivalry, and when a same gendered pokemon hits the field, the rivalry boost activates, giving my stabs a power buff. Sub allows me a contigency plan in case they break through infatuation as well as power off great attacks. Seeing as many non gendered pokemon are steel type in NU, this works in my favor. It is best to pair this with a ground type like Seismitoad or a water type like Samurott to get rid of the rocks that wall this set

This set is self explanatory. Just punish physical attackers/spinners with Rocky helmet, static, and one of my moves. It is a good lead and a decent status spreader. I have sludge bomb slashed in case I need to hit grasses, and Pain Split for recovery. I mostly go with scald for burns and to further punish ground types

Yeah, he is the greatest. In all seriousness, sometimes he has good ideas. It's hard using arbok, but he absorbs toxic spikes. Weirdly enough haxorus is the weakest one.
