A trip-friend differs from a name-friend in that a trip-code appears over their post, a string of characters that usually seem random and have one or two exclamation marks above the post. This is done by entering not only a string of characters in the name field but also one or two hash-tags before that #tripcodinglikeaboss ##fuckyeahtripcodes. An exploiter of this feature is called a trip-friend.
Rumors say that hackers have found a way to tag their posts not only with a name but a trip-code too.
