Can someone assist me in team building?

I just can't seem to see good synergy in the same way as everyone who frequents competitive battling I talk to. I don't want to get embarrassingly defeated in an upcoming casual tournament with friends.

I have, mostly ready to be or already bred as fresh level 1's:

Adamant Binacle
Adamant Pawniard
Adamant Elekid
Jolly Croagunk
Calm Umbreon
Impish Gligar
Timid Noibat

Also, I have A Modest Amaura and a Bold Ivysaur I'm thinking of using that are part of my in game team.

No items allowed in the tournament and everyone is new to competitive battling.

What you do is pick a playstyle first. I personally go for balanced which some people have called Bulky Offense or Semi-stall; the latter of whom are retarded, like you. But this is besides the point.

What I recommend is picking a singular pokemon and building the team around that one Pokemon. Let's say you want it to be BDAzumarill or something.

Now you look at the defensive checks that shit on it, and the offensive checks that shit on it. The former of these include Quagsire, Clefable, Mega Venusaur, Ferrothorn, Rotom-W, Amoongus, etc. You might want to try something like Talonflame to check many of these; Liechi Berry Talonflame can eke past Rotom and Quagsire with Natural Gift. or maybe you want to use something else that can set up on these things like Mega Scizor.

Some pokemon that offensively trouble azumarill are things that can revenge kill it, like Scizor, so you might want something that can kill it before you get into a tight spot. Maybe that Talonflame would do the trick, maybe you want to use something like M-Manectric for that and for checking enemy Talonflame while forming a VoltTurn core with your own Talonflame, idk.

You also want some support pokemon. VoltTurn and BDAzu both need rocks off the field because of constant switching and BD reducing your HP, etc. You can try a Defogger or a Spinner like Defog Latios or Scizor or Excadrill or whatever, idk. Also get some support pokemon to support the pokemon you've already picked out. Talonflame and Manectric have their own checks you want to be aware of.

I was really just looking for the bottom of the barrel, simple advice for making use of what I have and why things might synergize.

Well, you can try to go with Barbaracle first and beat as much as possible. With 60 EVs into speed you should be slow enough to use Shell Break after your opponents attack and afterwards fast enough to even outspeed Greninja.With cross chop, razor shell and stone edge most of your opponents pokemon should be no problem thanks to the buff from its ability.
But you are fucked, when Barbaracle drops low on hp after opponents first attack (but with 136def/131 spec def it shouldn't take too much dmg). Because of the def debuff every priority attack can be deadly
