Ive caught 19 shiny pokemon and as of getting the shiny charm ive caught 11 pokemon because of it. In all i have 52 traded and caught in all. Im currently looking for a shiny spheal but its been taking me since sunday to find it and ive caught 3 shiny bergmites as a result.

Thing is, I was still breeding for ivs, so it only has Attack, Defense, and Special Attack. I don't know if i should praise Masuda, or take the next flight to Japan and dishonor his rice.

Got this today. I had actually just hatched a 31/31/31/31/28/31 and was going to call it good, when this guy popped out of my very last reserve egg. Only 26 or so boxes, too.

Has anyone ever caught a shiny without even realizing it was shiny?

I was just recently going through my Pokemon Box on GameCube in list mode when I noticed a star icon next to a Nidoran. Apparently at some point I caught a shiny Nidoran in LeafGreen and I didn't even realize it.

Makes me wonder how many shinies I may have run from because I wasn't paying attention.

A few months ago I was breeding Horseas and none of them had exactly what I want and released and when one of the horseas was fading out of existence I realized it was a shiny. Friend was over so I felt kinda stupid and torn.
