Well /shw/, it happened. 2 days ago after 7525 soft resets and a few ritual sacrifices it finally fucking showed up. Modest sync didn't work, it's naughty.
IVs are not really that good either. It has 20s in every stat except for hp which has 0-6.
Caught it in a net ball with 4pp left, thank god I didn't have to use the Master ball.

I'm trying my luck at Giratina now. Good luck with your hunts this weekend guys!

Morning /shw/, I had an amazing week.

I hatched the shiny froakie I wanted on monday (sadly no protean though), then I hatched a shiny ferroseed on wednesday after only 1 day of hatching, and then hatched a shiny shroomish yesterday after only a few batches.

Not to mention finding a shiny hoppip while ev training.

Last weekend I started hunting for an HP Ice electrike. I hatched one within five boxes, but it had HP Bug.

I kept going and on box 18, I hatched this beauty. She's absolutely perfect. 31/6-7/30/31/31/31
Her only flaw was having Static, but a capsule fixed that.

Yeah chaining is a massive pain, and even when you do everything right you're never guaranteed it won't break. It's good for trophy or gift shinies though

Not to mention it has such a variety of possible movesets, It almost feels like thats how Greninja SHOULD be. The ability implies and encourages originality from the trainer, yet so many people use the copy/paste smogon set.

I run a somewhat gimmicky Fling/Kings Rock + Acrobatics + Water Shuriken set with U-Turn of course. But I've tried loads of other sets too that work just as well.

Oh, and U-Turn actually deals a decent amount of damage too.

What's the best way of getting a foreign pokemon for breeding? I've been IV breeding for a shiny Froakie for over a month with MM but getting kinda tired of it.

Yesterday, I decided I was going to take a break from my camels and begin working on a few projects I owe a friend of mine. Without much thought, I accepted the last egg without thinking about it, and withdrew my parents and put in my dive ball cranidos.

My jaw dropped when I saw the blue hump. Laki is 31/31/15/29/31/00. Her defense is the random inherited stat, as I had yet to get a hex female (31/31/31/31/31/00) to replace my mom (31/31/31/29/31/00).

So, today, I'm working on dive ball cranidos because they're being dicks. I finally get all four egg moves on them after a several exhausting hours of ability fails. I didn't want to risk a shiny as my current female was xx/00/xx/xx/31/xx and I definitely didn't want that 0 attack. So, rather than shoving my hex foreign bulbasaur in with her, I put in my special-pent bulbasaur that's English. I mean, why would I get a shiny with two English pokemon when I'm just trying to get some good IVS on it?

I was wrong. I somehow even managed to get a female (ability fail, so I couldn't put her in to replace her horrible mother). I got stupid lucky she randomly rolled attack because while her father had it in the 20's, that 0 from her mother would've killed me.At least Rampardos has a beast attack anyway... Cascade is 31/07/31/22/31/29. While that 07 is pretty bad, she's still my best accidental shiny. I'm just glad she was in a dive ball because that and moon are my only tolerable balls for when the shiny doesn't match.
