People only see Garchomp and its mega as hyper offensive threats or SR + 3 attacks. I personally find Fat Chomp from Gen5 being still good with Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin, so is Rest Talk Mega Garchomp that can do its job pretty well. Another good use of the mega is the mixed Mega Garchomp with Sticky Web support, sure the speed nerf ruined its classic SD or choiced set but didn't really make it worse, its sti good in its other roles now, especially the tanky ones.
I can see instead Lopunny and Audino only raising in usage for like one tier in the competitive battle simulators, still better megas than Mega Sableye that is really inferior to the standard Sableye.
Other overhyped Pokemon were definity G**dra, definitely the worst pseudo so far that on some simulators has reached the usage allowing it to drop to NU, but also other XY overhyped mons like Gourgeist-XL where I can see it was also Game Freak fault making it physical instead of specially oriented since Trevenant already had a better ability to abuse the physical role. Also Noivern, it's just a special version of Crobat, a decent Pokemon with average stats, boh Crobat and Noivern have some pros and cons that swapped would make them perfect.
Last Pokemon is definitely Diancie and Mega Diancie, no point in e er using them, better than Hoopa, but still garbage. Extremely low HP, shallow movepool and poor defensive typing saved by its defensive stats, however without Pain Split or Wish it can't rely on those defences either. And the mega is just a waste of a mega slot, no matter how the stats will be reordered.
