It would be special attack if blissey/chansey/latias weren't around.

Even with pranskter WoW/intimidate/etc, physical ends up being better.

Earthquake is just too good.

Special Attack, no doubt. With Attack you have shit like Intimidate, Fur Coat, Burns, etc. Some special attackers also have access to Psyshock which takes care of SWalls too.

Obviously Attack.

Special Attack doesn't get anything nearly as good as Earthquake, Close Combat, Brave Bird, Flare Blitz, Outrage, Sucker Punch, Extremespeed, or any priority move except Vacuum Wave.

Swords Dance has much wider distribution than Nasty Plot and Dragon Dance is on stronger pokemon than Quiver Dance. There's also no physical equivalent to Blissey.

Special attack is weaker if you don't consider external modifiers. Attack is superior but it gets easily raped by all the modifiera the oppenent will launch at you.
Also speed is the best stat.

no, it can be used in more ways than blissey, being a wall is only one of them. It can also do decent damage with brave bird and iron head, set up hazards and force the opponent to take damage by said hazard by whirlwinding them out.
