quiver dancing and putting stuff to sleep is literally the only thing butterfree should ever do. most bugs are actually offensively oriented.

still, bugs are the most tactical of the pokemon types.
we agree that putting stuff to sleep is good for butterfree and i hope we can also agree that putting it in the same sentance with jiggly to expain why a team sucks is a mistake.

2 megas have come in handy. I'm certainly not the only person to use more than one mega. Mega vensaur and Charizard y is common at the top of the ladder.

I personally find it more fun. For me one of the most satisfying things about doubles is encoring a mon into protect/trick room/ other set up move especially when it's trapped with shadow tag. If that happens usually it means I've won the game as both my mons can concentrate on its partner free from risk.

Banette can play mind games with your opponent by alternating destiny bond and phantom force (which hits through protect) the prankster wil-o-wisp is also great since they bumped its accuracy up to 85% this gen.
