I haven't touched my X in weeks so i open up for shits and giggles a couple of hours ago and notice i have some safaris I never got into, so don't know what pokes there are, while clearing this up what do i find?

a freakin' shiny shuppet! i've always been a fan of shuppet shiny colors and it's evo so i was happy with little Geppetto. this was one of those "cool looking shinies that i don't like as much to MM it". Feeling sweet i thought "why not?" and looked for another one of those kind in other safaris, and less than an hour later BOOM! shiny fraxure!
I was definetly on a roll and i decided to do one last try with a skarmory.
minutes ago i finally got that elusive son of a bitch and after just about 7 hours running in safaris while watching TV got me THREE shinies (a personal record).

sorry if i came out as some asshole or made you kind of mad, but i'm just sharing that this is just luck in the end. Masuda loves us all, even if we use other methods he will bless us with shinies at some point, don't lose faith.

As I got my shiny decent IV Espurr last night, currently working on getting a shiny Inkay, then moving onto Swablu, not sure what after that.

Anyone in here have a Friend Safari with Inkay in it? Would help greatly in my hunt for a shiny- I've asked in the Friend Safari General but to no avail yet.

Got this guy in the friend safari. Jolly nature. Perfect in Hp, Attack and speed. Looks like 29 in special attack and 30 in defense. Only bad part is it's about an 8 in special defense.

That's my situation with Swablu(four males) and was part of the reason I switched to other two.

I'm now working on Audino, I hatched a normal hexaperfect female and switch(This will be the first time I have 6 flawless on both parents).

All the ones I bred have Encore, Fire Punch, Ice Punch and Switcheroo which was a setup I got from one person on Wonder Trade earlier this year. I kept those on it to help spread through Wonder Trade last night.

The element punches are definitely recommended.

I don't think it has ever taken me this long to find a 6iv HA female before and I am completely dreading the prospect of hatching a shiny before I manage to get one.

On a related note, if breeding for a specific hidden power, is it better if both parents have the same ivs or should I just have hexaperfect parent, and one parent with ideal hidden power ivs?

I may use the Growlithe competitively but I mostly just decided on Growlithe on a whim. I've been breeding stuff for months now and wanted to give MMing a try. Growlithe was close on my breeding list, so I ended up starting there.

It helps that the Arcanine I used in FireRed made quite a splash with me.

I'm not quite sure what I'll really do with the Growlithe once I get it, but having the Egg Moves on it should put it in a good position either way.

EV training Speed, just caught this sexy serpent after a nail biting battle which was easily over ten turns long due to Swagger shenanigans. It almost killed itself with +2 Attack confusion damage but thankfully it snapped out of it just as I killed the last remaining non-shiny Seviper.
