How to mega?
I need to train the pokémon normaly for his final stage, or should I make it training (IV/EV) especificaly for the mega?

Can I use my top percentage gyarados from BW to bacame a good mega gyarados, for example?

Cover both bases, that's what I say. I've used my Ampharos as both its regular self and its Mega, depending on the situation. I'd recommend you plan for that as well. Sometimes the Mega typing or ability is absolute horseshit in a certain battle, and sometimes the stat boost or new ability/type will be an advantage.

So just... you know... think about that.

Depends on it's current ev spread. If it's just a 252/252/4 spread it'll be fine in singles. You'll want something more specific in Doubles/VGC though. Now stop asking stupid questions, please.

Like Gyarados, sometimes you don't want to get hit by a electric move, so you can MEga evolve and bulk up a bit before the hit, though that'll leave you open to be hit with a fighting, grass, or bug move you weren't previously weak to.

I think it's in line with the philosophy of Dark types, the mind games you get to play with Mega Gyarados.
