Magic Guard Charizard's good because it can come in without worrying about entry damage, DD as it goes mega X and just start sweeping without worry. The magic guard isn't used to make base Charizard good, it's to make X (and Y) even more terrifying. For my suggestion, give base form drought so Char X can hit you with +1 Tough Claws boosted Flare Blitz in the Sun.
Charizard's a fun one because he can become broken easily with just 1 change. Choose one: V-Create, Extremespeed, Quiver Dance, Tail Glow. Shell Smash too but that doesn't make sense.
