Boomburst's very existence already seems like it shouldn't be possible. It comes in the same Gen where, for no reason at all, all the major elemental moves got nerfed (Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Surf, Blizzard, etc.). It has 140 BP (as much as Sky Attack without a turn to charge), 100% (which few moves over 100 BP have), and 10 PP (most 110 BP moves have 5 with shit accuracy). After all that it has NO DRAWBACKS. No recharge, no charge up, nothing.
It only makes even remotely any sense existing right now with the fact that the only Pokémon who get STA from it have relatively mediocre stats and that the only 'mon with a good stat to use it doesn't get STAB, plus it's the only one (Noivern).
Think real fucking hard. I don't want to have to explain this again.
