AssVest Conkeldurr is something that always annoys me when team building for Battle Spot, where everything is quick and fast.

Fairies manhandle it thanks to Fighting/Dark resistance yes, but other than that it's not something that's easily taken down by most mons. Easily checked after some prior damage, but at full health it won't be taken down so easily.

Sableye is another one I absolutely loathe not just because of its playstyle but because of personal dislike of it. Offensively, anything that cannot 2HKO it cannot hope to beat it once poisoned/burned since it can just spam priority Recover until you die. Burn means most physical attackers can't do that after the being burned and Sableyes tend to be Calm with 252SpD and 252HP so less powerful Special Attackers aren't getting past that either. You can try to status it, but priority Taunt shuts down obvious utility/support Pokemon from using Toxic. Again, Fairies shut it down easily but most of the time I don't have room for a Fairy in my team so I've just been running something like Gliscor to deal with it.

Actually is not that easy.
Quick Guard is in the same priority bracket than Fake Out.
If the Quick Guard user is faster than the Fake Out user, only in that case Quick Guard will block Fake Out.

Fuck Gliscor, and the set EVERYONE runs on it. ToxicStall is boring as shit and the only thing it does for a team is be obnoxious. No need to set up a sub to piss off your opponent. Stalling for time is a dirty strategy and nobody uses it harder more than Gliscor.

Atleast Trevenant's easy to deal with, Gliscor takes fucking forever to take down because of Poison Heal. Fuck that thing.

I actually quit doing ranked battle spot when I saw these guys getting spammed right after Bank got released. Land-T specifically just took the wind outta my sails. Gonna have to suck it up if I wanna start learning doubles though because they'll be back with a vengeance if they open the national dex for next years VGC ruleset.

You can potentially get three turns of uninterrupted protect/sub stall in one go, as dig allows you and your sub to avoid damage and be immune to earthquake because HE'S FUCKING FLYING UNDRGROUND.

I also like to replace toxic with swords dance and give him toxic spikes support to get and easy +6 in attack while stalling. If the opponent has no flying, levitating or faster ice types, it's pretty much gg.

Am I doing it right?
