XY felt railroaded as fuck, I couldn't walk two steps without the band of retards coming behind me, saying their one line, and telling me where I have to go next. It got annoying fast and they never let up until after the Champion was beaten. I stopped playing for a few months because it was that bad about it.
The worst moment of that in my opinion was the Flare grunt who tells you point-blank, "come back when you have 4 badges."
BW2 had bad railroading for the first few Gyms, XY had bad railroading throughout, GF needs to let the player fucking breathe.
