I dunno I think Gen 1 starter megas (not counting X here) retain dat Gen 1 simplicity and most Gen 1 megas I think also do that. No random splotches of color or lines for no reason for the most part

What fucks me over is that, when baby Pokemon would actually necessary (Cubone, Kangaskhan, Miltank/Tauros, Druddigon or most Non-evolving Pokemon in general) we never fucking get them
