Typhlosion should be kinda obscure to casuals, anyway. If it were me, I'd use something where it's only Typhlosion in a battle ready stance. He looks dynamic and explosive if the art is done right. The bazooka thing, you may regret it a couple of years down the road. I think it looks sort of childish.
Bonus question: What do you like about Typhlosion? First game? Do you hope for a Mega? Why (not)? If yes what sort of? Other comments?

Tribals look more adult/mature as opposed to the official art which looks more childish and is too easily recognisable. A girl may not know Mawile is a pokemon, but a tat like pic related looks definitely like you've put cartoon/anime in your body. And DEFINITELY don't do
