Ghost really doesn't have enough useful resistances for it to be a good defensive type, so dusclops and dusknoir get shafted a bit. And with how good an attacking type Ghost is now, they get fucked over by faster ghosts as well.

It doesn't help that Dusknoir has a nice 100 Attack stat, but the most powerful physical STAB attack is only 60 BP

Ghost may have the benefit of having high neutral coverage now but the base power of its "best" offensive moves just makes it underwhelming even with STAB. Especially on the physical side, where it's Shadow Claw and stuff like Dusknoir can't learn it. Phantom Force eats a turn so unless you're running stall it's kinda crud.

Shadow Force is Giratina's signature move. But now that you bring up the BP Phantom Force and Shadow Force bring up another parallel: Volt Tackle and Wild Charge. Since Volt Tackle is Pikachu's signature move, physical Electrics like Eelektross, Electrivire and Luxray are deprived of a hard hitting STAB and have to settle with something weaker which still deals recoil for who knows why.

Because SC basically makes it two mons, one attacky and one defensive, so it's BST should reflect that (in fact in most online thing each forme is treated as a seperate mon in calcs).

Shield form you have 150 defenses, and in attack form you have 150 in both stats. Its pretty slow so it'll use those defenses to take a hit the change stats and be a mixed power house. 720 BST

M-Banette has better attack stat than salamance (actually better than any uber) and has priority thunder wave, that lets it close the speed gap, will-o-whisp to reduce physical atacker, and toxic to fuck shit up, also great movepool overall. I just dont get it why is it so underrated. Maybe because it's STAB is just useless to normal types.

It sounds good on paper, but it having to run Protect to stop from being OHKO'd on its mega evo turn and the inability to switch into anything makes it much more difficult to use in practice. When it works it's pretty great, but it requires so much team support it's not even worth using on 99% of teams.

Huge Power Regigigas would be FANTASTIC, because it has not been given any love from GF whatsoever. At least Huge Power would make it USABLE. It might be good enough for OU. And maybe even Ubers, where it rightfully belongs among its fellow titans.

Regigigas with fucking ANYTHING other than Slow Start (or Truant or any disability) would make me so hard. I'll even take Stall, since that'd still fit its nature and it wouldn't have to worry about outspeeding anything anyway and can focus on its already impressive 110/110/110 bulk.

Huge Power Regigias wouldn't be OU, it would be S rank in ubers, pushing absolutely everything else down a peg. Even just giving it Huge Power would give it 838 attack with Jolly 252 attack. It would be disgustingly broken.

Psychic/Ghost is truly one of those pure ass dual typings that has absolutely no redeemable value.

Double 4x weakness to two of the most versatile offensive typings, only 2 immunities who have no place ever trying to face it and the typing negates the few resists it has.

There are only a few typings which can reach that level of bad, Dark/Psychic happens to be another of those.
