Talonflame hasn't been used as often recently, people are learning how to play around it, the novelty of a ridiculously strong priority user in OU has worn off, and all these bans have been slowing down offensive teams that make Talonflame effective.

Greninja is only used by scrubs.

Greninja is actually pretty decent even though it's outclassed by Keldeo most of the time. It's certainly not the Electivire of Gen 6 like some people like to claim.

I can't wait til ORAS litters the field with megas.

They'll HAVE to realize at that point that they are practically banning a whole metagame. They might make a new tier or they might finally come to the conclusion that UU is already what they are desperately trying to keep OU at, and that there's nothing wrong with playing UU if you want that instead.

I think everyone was still adjusting to the fact that weather was much less viable in XY.

X also didn't pick up usage until other offensive threats like MMilf and MLuke were banned.

Y was always god tier in doubles though, one of my earliest VGC teams was using a Y and Venusaur core.

Ideally it would be Thundurus, then Landorus, the Charizard X, with Azumarill and Keldeo potentially being suspected but not banned, but Char X is on the chopping block first, and nearly every suspect test so far has resulted in a ban. I'm going to guess Char X, but I could see people thinking it has enough checks like Azumarill and Lando-T. They ought to ban Thundy and Lando-I first so Char X looses a couple checks and can be more justifiably be banned, but I'm not in charge of smogon

I've heard mixed things of what they're doing, some say it might be M-Pinsir or Zard-X. I can't see them banning Pinsir, just get up sneaky pebbles and it's quite easy to deal with, since they can't bring it in too safely.

Zard-X I might see being tested, and possibly banned. Not sure at all.

But that's wrong. In the early days of VGC2014, CharX was considered to be absolute train wreck, due to largely relying on setting up Dragon Dance and gaining a weakness to Earthquake, with the alternative being a weather setter. It was only since US Nationals/Worlds that it started to have a place in good VGC teams

Greninja's main use is killing dragonite (one of the only pokemon that can OHKO it through Multiscale) but drago's usage isnt high enough to rely on it for that and Talonflame's brave Bird spams are now Will O Roost sets

Oh yeah Mega Audino is going to be banned so fucking hard.

Mega Altaria, Lopunny, and Sableye are going to ubers before we can even blink.
Mega Sceptile already is and Mega Swampert will bring back Drizzletoed into popular usage Though Kyogre is actually a pretty decent partner for it, as it counters CharYs solar beams and can tank any other grass type move in existence, so Mega swamp might see some Uber use, regardless of its actual tier

Lopunny will be just decent depending on its stats. Magic Bounce is a downgrade from prankster considering it already has Taunt.

Altaria will be utterly fantastic but not broken.

Also Rain is already pretty common, Swampert will just make it more common.

Where are people getting that Landous-I is next? Normal Landy is almost nonexistent in high rank play. Landy-T is the super-common one that's everywhere.

As someone who plays some ladder, I think Charizard-X is the obvious choice because he's by far the best sweeper in OU, no competition. Even though Landorus-T is a lot more common, it's because it provides a balance of utility, offense, stealth rocks, and intimidate. Basically rounds out your team.
