Real talk, I wish they didn't pander to an obviously retarded fanbase that produced the most cringeworthy memes I've ever seen.
For instance, the fans repeated the "background pony looks like David Tennant" meme so much, now there are intentional Doctor ponies. But he *didn't* look like Tennant, he didn't have the same eye color or hairstyle and those are basically the only things to go by. How the fuck did that meme even start?
If anything, the writers should have openly mocked that idea. Hint at it, then have him say "What's a time lord? I'm a planeswalker."

In my fanfic, 'Alicorn' comes from the old Unicorn pony language while 'Pegacorn' comes from the Pegasus pony language (although it is technically shortened from the Earth pony name 'Pegasus-Unicorn').
