Tell me /vp/, what move tutors would make what Pokes competitively viable in ORAS?
For example, an E-Speed tutor would be awesome, and if Lopunny got it with its new mega it would be completely overpowered.

Flare blitz to flareon. It's base attack is as high as Ho-oh's. Switch it in on a fire attack and that's the game.

it's problem is that for it to perform well it needs, generally, a lot of support, so it's not easy to fit in any team and you're better of using other mon that's not a burden in most cases

Seriously, try it. It hits like a fucking semi truck, and I have had Flareon sweeps before, its possible. Its pretty underrated and people don't know what to expect.

Very rarely do I actually see a Ludicolo run, and when it is it's always a Swift Swim one. I run HP/Def with Rain Dish and Rain Dance. Works pretty good, especially for a revenge against Blaziken.

I can only assume you're higher on the ladder than me, as I'm 1380 on showdown and challenge passerby on cartridge.
I wasn't meaning to say that Ludicolo isn't known for rain, it's just most people don't seem to expect it to actually accomplish anything in battle.

The problem with an Espeed tutor is that Extremespeed is pretty borked on anything that can actually use it.

They'd have to distribute it to almost exclusively shitmons or you'd have a bunch of pseudo-Ekillers all over the place in every tier.

I'd like to see a tutor for Stored Power.

If Serperior gets its HA released it could really use Superpower as a tutor move. Imagine a physical Contrary Serperior switching in on anything with Intimidate... Fun would be had.

Hawlucha getting Superpower would also give it a lot of competitive viability, at the very least in doubles, since Hi-Jump Kick is way too risky.
