Is maison actually designed to hack and fuck you up? I got frozen twice and critted a dozen time in the same battle.

I was using this team up until my super doubles streak was broken:

>Dual Screens Light Clay Magic Bounce Espeon
>Protect/Sub/LeechSeed Sitrus Berry Harvest Exeggutor
>Mega Charizard Y
>Weakness Policy Dragonite

I swear nearly every team I faced had Ice Beam, Rock Slide and grass types waiting to fuck up my Exeggutor strategy.

Truant durant with entrainment, have two pokemon that can go through sturdy/sashes with protect (cloyster, mega kanga) anything will do but just make sure it has protect. You'll still get wrecked by quick claw sheer colds hitting 100% of the time but there was nothing you could do there.

I had the same problem as you OP
Kept using fun-mons and losing around 30-40 wins.
So I bit the bullet and made Generic Battle Mansion: The Team.
Lead:
Protean Greninja
expert belt
HP Fire/Hydro pump/grass knot/Ice beam

Mega Mom
Power-up punch/sucker punch/earthquake/return

Garchomp
Life Orb
Outrage/Earthquake/Iron Tail/Fire Fangs

This team walks past 50 wins and has no problem going further.
Don't have HP Fire Protean Greninja? spend 30 seconds on wonder trade and trade some random shit mons. Every 3rd poke on wonder trade is Froakie. And one will be what you're looking for.

sent out durant, which cant finish scizor. scizor roosts to full hp.
fuck.

streak 67 man. focus sash on blaziken wouldve saved me, but then you risk the eventual double miss with HJk and dieing.
any ideas for a new better team?

rest doesnt matter.

Adamant blaziken @scopelens (the one that boosts accuracy)
HJK, flare blitz, protect, sd

M Kang
Sucker punch, shadow claw, return, power up punch

I run choice scarf instead of sash because outspeeding the enemy ensures you have less chance to take a hit.

Neither is blaziken on sash because after a couple of times of having bad luck with HJK i feel it is not safe for the maison without the accuracy boosting item.
