Use the DS with the Gen IV game and Emerald. Migrate from Emerald, then catch them in Pal park. Max 6 per day, must transfer exactly 6 at a time.
Use the DS and the 3DS, each with either the Gen IV and Gen V game. Use the transfer lab in BW/BW2 to transfer from the Gen IV game to Gen V. Max 6 at a time, but no daily limit.
Use the 3DS, the Gen V game, the Gen VI game, and poketransfer. Follow the onscreen instructions to transfer. Max 1 box at a time, only from Box 1, no daily limit.
