It'd be different if Bug gave something of use over Ground, but it doesn't. The only advantages Bug gives are completely negligible. EQ, on the other hand, solves an entire portion of Dragon's problems.

If you can condense his set to Dragon, Ground and Fire along with a setup move, thats a fuck of a lot more efficient than a grab bag of weak moves back by a weak and nearly useless Bug typing.
Like, why the fuck do you guys even want Bug on it? Bug is such a shitty type. It offers coverage against Grass, Psychic and Dark, things that Dragon has no problems with. Hell, a decent amount of the relevant members of those types are hit harder by STAB EQ or Dragon anyways.
