Pokemon games have always been piss-easy once you grow up. It's silly that GF feels the need to make an already easy game even easier but you were never playing these games for the difficulty.

To further my point, they could remake gold and silver every.single.generation. improving just the graphics, adding the new pokemon and all the gts and breeding mechanics and I would toss my money at them with a big old 1984 smile on my face.

look you sort of have to imagine it like this.
at first only lower leveled wild pokemons challange you, because youre an inexperienced trainer.
also it resembles how you and your pokemon become better

I understand the necessity, but if your point were to be taken all the way, then location wouldn't matter. You could run into a level 50 pidgeot after beating all the gym leaders on the same route where could once only be challenged by level 5 pidgeys. I would totally buy that if that were the case.

Or catching all the low level un-evolved pokemon that you didn't take the time to as you're beating the gym leaders cuz aint nobody got time for that. But they could appear by using your own low level pokemon again instead of your level 100 starter all the time.
