Fairy
Steel (was nerfed slightly in 6th gen, though I think it needs nerfed again)
Water
Ghost

Types that I think need buffed:
Ice
Bug
Grass

Make water weak to poison.
Make fairy not super against fighting.
Make bug super against fairy.
Make ice resist water.
Dunno how to save grass, or what to do about ghost.

Simple, make grass strong vs ghost and ghost nfw vs grass. Pretty sure some plants were supposed to ward off spirits in folklore somewhere

While you're at it make Poison super-effective to water, ya know pollution and what not.

Steel should have been nerfed much harder last gen. Still has way too many senseless resistances and pretty much dictated what would become 'common offensive types' and it's not even that terrible offensively now.

Keep fighting weak to fairy, take away fairy's resistance to fighting attacks.

This type needed a third weakness considering that psychic attacks are so bad by type matchups that many STAB users don't even bother with them. On the other hand, there are already enough resists to fighting moves before fairies were introduced.
