In case you didn't know, theres a confirmed timeline for the games. Which is nice, since would then know how long it has been since you last saw spoke to for example Cynthia...

The past remakes where put out with this order in mind and it makes alot of sense when thinking about alot of details when playing said games.
Another thing, it has always seemed to me that the regions previously didnt interact with each other as much. The countless characters ingame talking about what a breakthough it is to conncet to another region is an example of this (often charaters related to the PC-system, National dex and Pal Park says these types of things)...

Therefore, i've always thought that "new" pokemon comes around in the story when said new region connects with the rest. It would explain why certain pokes are in certain games.
E.g. FRLG had Johto pokes since they are very close to each other, and later had Gen 3 pokes when the player did that quest with the PC on Sevii Isles
Later during gen 4, Johto and Kanto seem rather unchanged, but a small amout of Sinnoh pokes can be seen on some NPCs

I don't think of this as head-canon since I belive it's so obvioulsy hinted.

And my original purpose of this thread was to question ORASs place in this "mess", since it introduces things in the timeline in place of Emerald that wasnt widely discovered untill XY (which is YEARS later).

I know they are just games after demands as usual... But how are they gonna explain this?
