gale wing should make all flying type attacks on the field priority so not just talonflame
so example

Except Talonflame doesn't really have the stats or typing to warrant Defeatist.

I do hate Gale Wings, it makes a special snowflake out of a regional bird, and we just can't have that; not when it makes Pidgeot cry in the corner and only want to eat ice cream for the next few nights.

Replace Gale Wings with Flash Fire or Drought in the next gen pls GF

There should be another ability called Galeforce. If a Pokemon with Galeforce KOs another Pokemon, the trainer can give it another command (e.g. KO and then immediately switch or KO and use a buffing move before the opponent sends out his next Pokemon)
