I liked Scraggy/Scrafty, Smussy (I forget it's real name, the cat), Oshawott, and Bisharp. Sadly, most of the bros I obtained that gen turned out to suck when I fought my friends.

Haxorus, Excadrill, Scolipede, Galvantula, Braviary, Klinklang, Ferrothorn, Terrakion, Scrafty, Conkeldurr, Golurk, Serperior, Leavanny, Drudiggon, Cofagrigus, Reuniclus, Sigilyph, Chandelure, Darmanitan, Carracosta, Cincinno, Zoroark, Eelectross, Hydreigon, Bisharp; not to mention the finest cover-art legends of the lot. That gen was a goldmine for me.

Rightly so - the reveal says its highest stats (ie speed and attack) are going to get even higher. Add a def boost and aerialate and it will dominate.

It was one of those Pokémon that at first I thought would be stupid, like many of my aforementioned favorites. Then they suddenly grew on me for no reason. Gen 5 was great because nearly all of its Pokémon could be useful for something, so when you had a go at training one of the more obscure members you were pleasantly surprised by how good it can be.
