Vivillon - cute design, cool pattern gimmick and actually surprisingly useful in battles.
>Rodent
Linoone - second best HM slave of the rodents in the gen it appeared and doesn't look disgusting

Staraptor - looks intimidating and it has a great movepool for getting through the main game

Salamence - best dragon design hands down
>Pikaclone
Pachirisu - squirrels are cute. Was one of the first things I made sure to catch in Diamond and had it in my party the entire game
